1. what the shadow hunter is
the shadow hunter is a ranged damage dealer. this class is excellent for both soloing and dping. this class is not tab+attack so if you are lazy this class is not for you. the shadow hunter is a very fun class to play and its damage is based around crits and basic attacks.

2. pros and cons
pros:
1. good damage
2. great soloer
3. crit machine with the right build
4. fastest class in the game
5. has great skills
6. only class that can go over 200 mov speed on an orithno to my knowledge

cons:
1. weak defense
2. not as much evasion as assassin

3. soul stone builds
soul stones are very important for every class as they are what make the class. the most common builds for shadow hunter are dex/vit, dex/agi, and vit/agi. i wont bother to go into mixed builds like dex/50%vit/50%agi as i dont find them to be practical. i myself prefer dex/vit, it provides very good damage and enough hp/pdef to hold your own while soloing. some people go dex/agi because they like to see a nice dodge all the time but this build isnt very usefull against red mobs as they break right through that evasion. the last common build vit/agi i havent personally used but with this build you lack damage and cant solo as fast as dex/vit.

4. equipment builds
for equipment you should of course have a xbow, hunter suit rappelz rupees, boots, gloves, and a helmet. as for rings you should use either luck rings for crits or dex rings for more damage. in pvp you might want to get some vit rings so that you can last longer but its up to you. as for earrings deffinitely get crit% earrings if you can find them. now for lvling up your equips. due too what little pdef and mdef gloves, boots, and helms give i only advise to upgrade your suit and weapon unless you have the money. also carry a r2 1handed mace with you for using headbreaker, it will come in handy for pvp/crowd control.

5. skills
1st job skills:
avoidance expert-max this skill as the evasion helps for soloing.
concentration-max this as the additional accuracy will help.
quick pace-max this as the added mov speed helps.
deep evasion-i really never use this skill as the duration is too short, get this to whatever lvl you want.armor mastery-the added pdef is sort of low so get this to whatever lvl you please.
