So last week I started playing mmos again since I felt that I could keep playing for more than 4-5 days like I usually did with mmos and then quit them.
So I have. I've been playing Rappelz rupees for the second time, I've been playing for 5 days I think, maybe more, maybe less. I have lost a little interest in it but just when I lost it I found it again. I got more interesting skills and so on. I've also broken my level 30 limit to most games. I've only got over level 30 in about 4 games and I've played a lot of mmos.
The thing I wanted to write about is what not just an update to tell people that it seems that I really can play mmos for longer now but I wanted to tell you what just happened to me in the game. So I was running around going to kill monsters and a pk'er came and started chasing me Rappelz rupees. This is nothing special but it got really fun and it got my blood flowing. He/She seemed to be stronger than me so I didn't dare face him/her and started running and since I'm really fast on foot in the game I got away nicely but then he/she summoned her pet which cought up to me and then the chase started. It was awfully fun and funny. I haven't been this excited playing a game for a long time. During this chase I realised what great skills I had at running away. I'm fast, I have 2 spells that stop the opponent for about 10 seconds and one that slows them down so I used them and keep running and then I also noticed that the enemy wasn't that strong and tried to fight him/her but my blows were really weak against him/her as well so I decided I should run because I had just died due to bad connection and lost quite a lot of xp. So anyway I finally stopped him/her ran around the hill and didn't see him/her anymore and started to use the teleport scroll which takes a while and then he/she appeared just when I was in the last part but luckily didn't manage to interfere me so I got away...
I actually might have been able to defeat him/her but it was so fun to run away Rappelz rupees. It made me feel like Usopp (a character from One Piece, who sometimes attacks, then says that he's sorry and runs away which is hillarious), how uses somwhat similar techniques to distract opponents and confuse them and fight the same way as I did which is something I've been looking in games for almost a year now. It's not exactly what I'm looking for, first I'm a melee fighter and Usopp uses ranged weapons and techniques not a big axe and magic but it was kind of similar so it was really, really fun.
Man, now I want an Usopp class in an mmo even more. It would be so cool that I couldn't even describe it in words. For now I'll settle with an axeman in Rappelz which still seems to interest me a bit. For a few hours every day at least. I can't play for too long though. Grinding is still boring but I can manage better than I hoped.
Now the only thing that I'd want in the game is a guild and friends. I've started to feel lonely but I don't really feel like going around in town asking random people to invite me to a guild.
